He died at 60 years old and after his death miracles were reported at his tomb. He was investigated because of his anti-gravitational activities and was subsequently moved into seclusion. ![]() While with the Franciscans he would levitate at the mention of any holy thing and only a command from his superior could bring him to the ground. His gift of levitation taught him to be humble and obedient. His ability to levitate was a difficulty for him because people would come to watch him like a spectacle.
